The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin is underway. While the catwalks explode with outerwear looks for Autumn/Winter 2010, another show in town is setting the trends for what we’ll be wearing underneath. At the 5.elements.berlin trade fair, intimate apparel including lingerie, corsets, underwear, sleepwear, menswear, hosiery are among the products showcased. To the delight of visitors, models put on quite a spectacle bringing some of the designs to life. Prints, lace and sheer silk were raising temperatures. Colour wise, fire engine red and denim blue were strong. Next task: I’ll be staking out suppliers who can offer these hot new looks in small cup sizes.
