This fabulous strapless sequined bra is Itty Bitty Bra’s headlining act for Spring 2012. Available in black or silver, it is the ultimate in disco glam and I LOVE it!

In my salad days, I might’ve worn this cute little number on its own. But as a grown-up woman, I’d plump for pairing it with a sheer top to temper the razzle dazzle and go for a more elegant feel. It would look equally as good glimpsed from beneath a floaty summer dress, or a tuxedo jacket. This is a bra you can have fun playing with, deciding just how much you dare to bare.

This daring design from the Itty Bitty camp still boasts the quality and good fit that has become the brand’s reputation. The patented cup design is one of the best fits I have come across for petite chests and the XS in this style is a great fit for my 32AA breasts, giving me a little more curve than my natural shape thanks to light padding.

Luscious, I may have to find a disco to go to…

  1. Definitely very glitzy! I like your idea of wearing it under a sheer top – definitely more classy than wearing it alone! I’m not really one for the underwear as outerwear trend myself, but if you are going to do it then you want some underwear that’s totally eye catching and unique, not just a plain old bra, and this one definitely fits the bill.

OMG I’ve just found my FAVORITE bra and I don’t know how to share it with the world so here is my little comment.

I’ve been wearing the “Natori Sheer Convertible Ultra Light Contour Plunge” which conveniently comes in the hard to find 30 sizes (30A, 30B..etc) AND OMG! Have I said OMG already?

This bra actually has little to no padding! Which is absolutely, freaking awesome because I’ve been there as a small chested woman, lain out like a lamb for slaughter in the middle of the department store amidst dozens of bras. And by bras I actually mean weird stiff scary things that when put on, can serve as 3 inch deep bullet proof armor for our 2 best friends. Yeah, terrifying.

And aside from polyester warfare, I couldn’t help but always feel down on myself while bra shopping. Was that really the only way I could look like a normal girl? By adding layers of fake to myself? Not that I think padded bras are actually terrible or anything, just not my thing. They make me feel ugly and inadequate.

As weird as it is for me to think about it this way, this little bra actually helped me move on and accept my breasts the way they are. I feel good wearing it, liberated even.

This bra looks awesome. I wish there was a matching brief!

Please allow me to cringe at the product picture. The bra is very pretty, but such a bad fit on the model. It is way too small (2 cupsizes minumum) and I hate the thought of any woman stuffing herself into this bra and thinking it fits just bc it looks on her like it does on the model (my mother used to do this).
