Where breast cancer is concerned, size doesn’t matter: every beautiful big boob, tiny titty, young bap, mature chest, droopy knocker and pert plumpy is under threat.
This October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, is the perfect opportunity for us all to unite and find out how we can play our part in fighting this disease. I’ve asked the small-bust lingerie specialists on my speed dial to tell me about the initiatives they’re running to support this very important cause.
This small cup specialist (which offers a lovely range of AAA cup, AA cup, A cup and B cup bras) is selling Breast Cancer Awareness pins for £1.00. The pins are being sent out with no charge for P&P (to UK customers) and all the money from sales goes directly to Breast Cancer Care. If you’re based in the UK and you’re shopping at Little Women anyway, why not pop a pin in your basket… you’ll get free P&P for your order*. (*if order is placed during the month of October).
This October, The Little Bra Company is donating 10% of all proceeds from its bestselling Lucia bra in peony/tangerine to the Young Survival Coalition, an international organisation dedicated to young women with breast cancer. YSC works with survivors, caregivers and the medical, research, advocacy and legislative communities to increase the quality and quantity of life for women under 40 diagnosed with breast cancer.
Stylish small-bust lingerie label Lula Lu is supporting the Save The Tatas Foundation during Breast Cancer Awareness Month by donating 10% of the sales of the Kaylen Convertible Bra to this private, not-for-profit corporation, committed to battling cancer at every stage.
The fabulous Itty Bitty Bra is donating 10% of the proceeds from sales of its Signature pink bra and breast petals to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure – a movement working to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and support the search for cancer cures.
