I’m over the moon that the New York Times has shown its support for small-chested women in a feature published this week: For the A-Cup Crowd, Minimal Assets Are a Plus. Thank you to journalist Catherine Saint Louis for throwing the spotlight on a little known fact: little-breasted women don’t all hanker after voluptuous curves.
In fact, some of us celebrate our “Lilliputian” assets. The feature provides an upbeat walk through the subject of small-busts, with soundbites from little-cup lingerie specialists including SBBH favourites, Lula Lu, Lailides, Eves Apples Lingerie, Little Women and The Little Bra Company.
Small bust, Big heart earns a mention as a venue for small-busted women. For new folks to SBBH that have travelled here via the New York Times, I’d like to point you to a few posts that flag up many of the small-bust saviours that provide lingerie and fashion that fits and flatters the petite-up-top body:
The AA-cup to A-cup holiday lingerie packing guide suggests the ideal small-bust capsule bra collection, The definitive small-bust swimwear guide gives you tips on swimwear styles to complement little chests no matter what your body shape, while Perfect AA-cup bras for your Spring Wardrobe gives you heads-up on what to look for when shopping for a discreet bra to wear with skimpy clothing.
